Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pediatric Private Duty Nursing | 1:1 Homecare
Family First Homecare is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide pediatric private duty nursing and home health care throughout the Tampa Bay area.
This role allows nurses to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to medically complex pediatric patients in their homes, ensuring they receive the specialized care they need while remaining with their families.
Unlike facility nursing roles, our nurses focus on one patient at a time, delivering high-quality care in a comfortable home environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver skilled pediatric home health nursing care
Provide private duty nursing for medically complex children
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor patient conditions and document clinical care
Provide tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and G-tube care
Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the care team
Follow all state nursing regulations and home health standards
Qualifications
Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience in pediatric nursing, home health, private duty nursing, or long-term care preferred
Experience with trach, vent, or G-tube patients is a plus
Strong clinical judgment and compassionate bedside manner
