Engineering Technician II

Job Description

• Provide daily engineering support to multiple manufacturing and service cells to ensure that all safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics are met. • Responsible for assisting in the development of assembly and service processes and procedures, test fixtures and test methods. • Responsible for troubleshooting, evaluation, and repair of customer and company owned equipment and determining the root cause of failures. • Performs preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and machinery as required. • Sustains and maintains 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities. • Familiar with assembly and disassembly of electronic, pneumatic, electromechanical and optical products. • Ability to use a variety of manual and automatic tools and equipment is required. • Must be capable of correctly interpreting and following procedures and filling out paperwork such as manufacturing forms, returned goods documentation, stock movement tickets, scrap tickets, identification tags, etc. • Observes all safety rules and regulations including the wearing of protective equipment when required. Will report any unsafe conditions to management.
