Job Description
Triaging and rooming patients for examination. Ensuring all relevant documents, labs, imaging, and records are available for provider review. Obtaining and documenting chief complaints, medical, social, and family histories, and vital signs.
Performing phlebotomy, EKG’s, injections, specimen collection and other procedures.
Assisting physician during treatment/procedures, examinations, and testing of patients.
Completing prescription refill request.
Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and other patient care areas.
Review incoming records, preparing documents for physician signatures.
Scheduling appointments, coordinating care with specialist offices.
Perform other general duties as assigned.
