Job Description
This detail-oriented, self-driven individual is responsible for operating CNC Router and Laser machines.
Responsibilities:
• Operate MultiCam APEX-3R-204 router as well as Amada CO2 and Fiber Lasers.
• Handles raw material and finished parts.
• Inspect dimension and quality of all parts produced.
• Maintains clear record and documentation of parts produced.
• Manages raw stock inventory and disposes of scrap.
• Communicate with Programmers and Sheetmetal Supervisor to prioritize work in a daily basis.
• Performs preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains workstation clean and organized.
• Occasionally generates programs for CNC equipment.
• Assist on other production operations as needed.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Experience operating CNC Routers and lasers is desired.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, kneel and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or push/pull/transfer up to 25 pounds. The employee must be able to occasionally push/pull/transfer up to 100 pounds.

Skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of milling and laser operations.
Proficient on reading technical blueprints and 2D CAD files management.
Experience setting up Routers, Lasers, or similar CNC equipment.
Must be proficient on metric system.
Excellent communications skills and teamwork oriented.
Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented.
Able to execute tasks in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Desired experience on Enroute, Dr. Abe, 3i and SolidWorks.
Pay
Starting at $15 per hour
Work Hours
7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
