Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools and power tools.
Pull wire through conduit and feed to designated locations.
Prepare, assemble, and install electrical components under supervision.
Troubleshoot and test electrical systems using basic tools and meters.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, clean condition.
Follow blueprints, technical diagrams, and safety codes.
Learn and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
Support journeyman electricians on construction sites, maintenance tasks, and emergency repairs.
Participate in classroom and on-the-job training as required by the apprenticeship program.
