R2J Chemical Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Water Treatment Technician to join our team who will assist in the start-up of new applications, fulfill service plans and provide problem solving support to existing customers. The position will require you to install, maintain and calibrate water treatment equipment, analyze water samples and maintain control parameters for each customer's systems.

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces, damp or dusty locations and hot conditions;
• Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching above shoulder level, using hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs and ladders, talking and hearing
• Must be able to discern color and pass a test for color blindness
• Must be able to work at heights above 10 feet

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a science field
• Mechanical aptitude
• Water treatment experience, including a knowledge of boilers and cooling towers
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• A valid Florida Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record
Pay
$17 hour
Work Hours
M-F and occasional weekend work
