Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Woodworker to join our Framing Team, specializing in the fabrication, finishing, and assembly of ornate mirror frames. This hands-on role requires a high level of craftsmanship, an eye for detail, and a passion for working with wood in a decorative, design-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Fabricate, carve, and assemble intricate wooden frames for mirrors using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Interpret production drawings and design specifications to create high-quality, visually compelling products. Shape, sand, and finish frames to meet aesthetic and dimensional standards, including gilding or specialty finishes as needed. Inspect all materials and final products for flaws, defects, or inconsistencies and ensure quality control standards are met. Collaborate with design and production teams to bring custom frame concepts to life. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all safety protocols. Skills

3+ years of woodworking experience, ideally in fine furniture, framing, or decorative arts. Proven experience working with ornate or detailed wood projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools, routers, sanders, lathes, and other woodworking machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. Strong attention to detail, especially in finishing and craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Experience in custom framing or mirror manufacturing. Familiarity with specialty wood finishes such as antiquing, gilding, or distressing. Artistic sensibility and appreciation for interior design.

$20hr - $25hr
