Job Description
Placido Bayou Community Association is a 636-home gated community in NE St. Pete. We are seeking a motived individual to run our maintenance department. The job entails maintaining our private infrastructure through preventative maintenance of water valves and storm drains, repairing irrigation on the common property, identifying problems and working with the association manager to secure proposals for repairs. Our maintenance supervisor will work closely with on-site contractors repairing water leaks, storm drain problems, sewer backups, and other issues. We are looking for a self-starter who is willing to learn all aspects of our water, storm, and sewer systems and apply this knowledge to keep our infrastructure to the standards our residents expect.
Skills
Knowledge of basic irrigation and plumbing, light landscaping, general maintenance skills. Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and to work in sometimes unfavorable weather conditions. Excellent communitcation skills and basic computer skills a must.
Valid driver's license and background check required.

$30.00/hour
Work Hours
28 hours per week on site (Mon -Thurs 8:00 am - 3:00 pm) plus 7 hours per week paid for standby call for emergencies
