We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer and Operator to join our dynamic production team and contribute to the precision and quality of our custom products. Position Summary: The CNC Programmer and Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery to produce components used in the fabrication of custom frames, artwork, and other product elements. This role is essential to ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality output that meets production and design specifications. Key Responsibilities: Create and edit CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar). Operate CNC routers, mills, or lathes to produce wood, acrylic, or metal parts for art and framing products. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining operations. Set up machines with correct tools, fixtures, and materials. Monitor machine operation and adjust programs or settings to optimize performance and accuracy. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment. Collaborate with design and production teams to troubleshoot and improve processes. Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or CNC certification preferred. 2+ years of experience programming and operating CNC machines, ideally in a woodworking or artistic production environment. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and ability to read technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset. Experience with materials such as MDF, wood, acrylics, or aluminum. Familiarity with production in an artistic or design-driven environment. Understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.

Pay

$20hr - $25hr
