able to assess accurate measurements to 0.001” accuracy to a 60” range using standard precision measuring tools such as micrometers, PI tapes, Vernier calipers etc. Qualified machinists may be considered upon demonstrated performance as meeting these requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with minimal supervision.
- Manage gage inspection and metrology.
- Perform incoming inspection of materials, components and review material certifications for conformance to specification.
- Perform and document in-process and final inspections, reporting any nonconforming condition to quality management for disposition.
- Must be proficient with basic office software and computers.
- Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks proficiently.
Skills
- Looking for an experienced quality technician that has significant knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and have practical experience.
