Machinist Career Opening
The manual Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating a vertical mill and lathe machines while maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment and supplies as well as perform various manual machining jobs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Produce quality machined parts
* Make Prototypes
* Program machines
* Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on tooling
* Production maintenance
* Maintain an organized and safe shop
* Assist in training
* Ability to communicate clearly
* Ability to set-up and run parts
* Manual machining duties
Qualifications and requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Minimum of 1 year* of related machine shop experience
* Ability to read blue prints, drawings and schematics
* Tooling coordination – use of precision measuring tools
* Computer skills
* Able to perform in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
* Machine Tool Technology certificate a plus

Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30PM Fixed schedule with little to no overtime.
Skills
-Operating manual mills, lathes, saws and sanders.
-Capable or using and reading measuring equipment.
