Job Description

This proactive and self-driven individual is responsible to supply raw stock to the Mill and Lathe departments. Sets up and operates CNC and manual Saw machines in order to cut raw materials (metal and plastic bars) according to blueprint. Places order to replenish and maintain stock levels. Responsibilities: Setup and operate a CNC Saws and Manual cold saw. Inspect cut parts using calipers and tape measure. Cleans and deburrs parts manually using a grinder. Perform basic preventative/corrective maintenance on equipment or tooling. Maintains stock levels and places replenishment orders. Operate CNC Mill / Lathe and performs tasks in other workstations as needed. Assembly of bearings and pins. Maintain 5S standard in working area. Displays high ethical/quality standards. Comply with safety policies and practices. Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Experience operating CNC Mill and lathes. Must have own tools, calipers and micrometer. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, kneel and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or push/pull/transfer up to 25 pounds. Skills

Required Skills: Effective communication skills. Must be proficient on metric system. Ability to perform shop math, parts/assembly print reading. Ability to run multi-machines in a work cell at the same time. Use of micrometers, calipers, go-no gauges and other inspection devices. Proficiency on G code is desirable. Willingness to learn. Teamwork oriented.

Pay

Starting at $15 per hour

Work Hours

7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
