Job Description
Looking for an experienced CNC machinist that can operate large lathes and/or boring mills.
Skills
The individual must be able finish machine large forgings and castings of various alloys and have the ability to use precision measuring instruments-such as micrometers, dial indicators and Vernier calipers to achieve and maintain close tolerances. The qualified candidate must be able to properly set up machines using appropriate fixtures and or tooling per provided work instructions. The candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings provided by shop superintendent. The candidate must be computer literate and familiar with AutoCad and like programs. The ability to program G codes and CNC operations a plus.
